Luka Dončić is facing a major legal dispute with his former fiancée Anamaria Goltes, who has reportedly filed a new claim in Slovenia seeking a total of $50 million. The reported demand comes amid an ongoing custody and financial support dispute involving the former couple and their two young daughters.

According to TMZ Sports, Goltes is seeking $40 million for herself, with the remaining $10 million reportedly intended for their children. The filing also reportedly asks for changes to Dončić’s current parenting arrangement.

Anamaria Goltes Seeks $50 Million as Custody Dispute Continues

The reported Slovenian claim comes shortly after Goltes sought to withdraw her child-support petition in Los Angeles. In that filing, she said she wanted to resolve the matter

in the best interests of their children.

However, the new Slovenian proceedings reportedly seek a substantial financial settlement while also asking the court to reduce Dončić’s custody time. TMZ reports that the NBA star currently has the children for at least two days each week, while Goltes is seeking to reduce that to one day.

Luka Dončić remains a central figure for the Los Angeles Lakers ahead of the upcoming NBA season

Dončić and Goltes were together for roughly a decade before ending their engagement earlier in 2026. They share two daughters, with the children currently living in Slovenia, where Dončić has reportedly spent part of his offseason while dealing with the custody dispute.

The legal battle comes as Dončić prepares for another season with the Los Angeles Lakers. His three-year, $165 million contract extension is set to begin this season, meaning the reported $50 million demand would represent a significant portion of his current NBA earnings.

Dončić joined the Lakers in a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Mavericks in February 2025 before agreeing to his new contract later that year. His future earning potential remains substantial, however, with another major contract opportunity potentially available if he exercises his options and later re-enters free agency.

For now, the reported Slovenian filing adds another development to the former couple’s ongoing dispute. No final settlement has been reached, and the reported financial demand remains part of an unresolved legal proceeding.
